92 Points from James Suckling (listed at $32 a bottle) the Alma de los Andes Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2017 is one of our top selling red wines. Sourced from estate vineyards in Lujan de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, these two sub-regions within Mendoza offer a perfect growing climate of warm days and cool nights. This phenomenon allows the grapes to achieve excellent fruit and tannin concentration, which is responsible for the wine's structure. Aged 12 months in new French oak, this rich red is loaded with jammy cassis and blueberry flavors, woven together with layers of floral and cedar notes. Great for $32 a bottle. Amazing for $11.99!
"This offers such attractive aromas of fresh blueberries and cassis, as well as a gently earthy, graphite edge, too. The palate has such juicy and succulent red plums and berries on offer, amid fine, smooth-honed tannins. Drink or hold." James Suckling, 92 Points
