Following the fermentation and pressing process, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in a selection of 60% new French and American Oak barrels and 40% neutral. Highlighted by deep dark hues and robust flavors of plum, black cherry and blackberries. The nose is greeted with aromas of baking spice, nutmeg, and tobacco. With soft, long-lasting leathery tannins, the mid palate is rich and spicy, balancing the wine with a long, round smooth finish.
"Blackberries, dark plums, chocolate and cedar on the nose, following through to a full body with fine tannins. Well balanced and composed, with an elegant frame and a precise core of berries and herbs." James Suckling, 91 Points
"This widely available wine is a wise choice for all levels of Cab fans. Dense aromas of fudge, tobacco and cigar box lead into an unctuous palate of black fruit, milk chocolate and baking spice. It’s potent and thick." The Wine Enthusiast, 90 Points
